Seeing the Change: Strengthening Visibility and Voice
Across RDPP
In large, multi-partner programmes like the Regional Development and
Protection Programme (RDPP), it is important to give space to local voices to
strengthen collaboration, deepen understanding, and highlight work being done
on the ground.
With 20 dedicated partnerorganisations working across Lebanon and
Jordan, RDPP supports a wide range of activities that promote protection,
livelihoods, and social cohesion for refugees and host communities.
Communicating these efforts effectively helps ensure that results are seen,
voices are heard, and stories are shared, not only among partners, but also
with donors, institutions, and local communities.
Why local voices matters
1. They bring the human impact to the
forefront
Behind every activity and every report are people; individuals and communities
whose stories deserve to be told. Strong communication helps highlight their
experiences, challenges, and successes.
2. It strengthens our partnerships
With so many organisations working across different sectors and regions,
visibility creates opportunities for shared learning and collaboration. It
makes it easier to see how each partner contributes to the bigger picture.
3. It builds engagement and trust
Whether we are communicating with communities, funders, or fellow
practitioners, storytelling is a tool for connection. It invites people into
the work and builds a shared sense of purpose.
Now, stories from across the programme are beginning to take shape.
These will soon be shared across RDPP’s website and social media platforms,
reflecting the diversity, dedication, and progress of the programme.
